Other things

No updates until Monday. I need to get this presentation-thing out of the way first.
Just so that you know, if I ever were to kill a man, it might very well happen within the next nine days. You heard it here first!

The WTF Express

Get away from the propeller!

Not one of the greatest moments in time

Since my mom told me she had sent me a package for my birthday I went downstairs today to check if my name had already appeared on the magical “you’ve got mail!”-board. It wasn’t there. The girl in the office asked me if my name was “Tshishiku” or something, which is really close enough.
So yes, [...]

I’m in love with a text file, shoot me!

Since I have started using Quicksilver I’ve also fallen in love with Applescript.
I’ve been using PathFinder for a while now, having it set as my default file manager. It was just problematic that some programs would call the Finder and then there was no way to get rid of it.
Now I have a nice little [...]

Ice Age

Finally, I have stopped the development of additional features for my final year project. From now on I can spend my time streamlining the code, fixing nasty bugs and writing extensive documentation.
Oh, and working on the four other projects I have on my list at the moment. Super!

Panic 2.0

Oh joy, yesterday I discovered that all of us totally forgot that we not only have to pull 1500 words each out of our asses, we also have to hold presentations.
When?
Next week.
Crap?
Hell yeah!
I have my text ready. At least the first draft. But I’d have no problem talking about my ideas and findings. Frederik will [...]

Then he went completely mental!

What the hell is up with my brain?
Most of last night it spent showing me timetables. It then added new appointments to the table. And filled them with random words. Just to directly jump to people playing rugby in a medieval city, which led to the lamest possible Heroes-showdown, involving a handshake.
Brain, you suck!

Hey, I don’t hate you. Yet.

Okay, I’m giving Quicksilver another chance. Must be the fourth or fifth try.
I must admit, I’m not exactly the most patient user. If I don’t benefit from a program immediately, it can’t be any good. At all. And so far Quicksilver never jumped at me and said “Hey, this is why you should be using [...]

Look at me, I can read!

I wonder who it is at ASDA that hates people.
I bought cereal and milk earlier today. You know, to brighten up my morning and stuff.
Well, apparently ASDA have exchanged their old white bags for transparent bags. Which is really nice, because now anyone can see what you just bought. And if you’re really lucky, these [...]

Maybe tomorrow will be a better day

Felt rather crappy today. It began with Ze saying that he’ll miss us. Made me sad.
Well, then I went on to get some hooks on my to-do-list for today. Did some DCiJ, some Project 2, some e-Business.
But I just can’t get a feeling for e-Business. I’ve written almost 800 words that all circle around how [...]
