Since I have started using Quicksilver I’ve also fallen in love with Applescript.
I’ve been using PathFinder for a while now, having it set as my default file manager. It was just problematic that some programs would call the Finder and then there was no way to get rid of it.
Now I have a nice little Applescript. I press ctrl-space, q, return. The Finder crawls back into its cave. (No, I’m not a fan of triggers.)
Same thing goes for emptying PathFinder’s trash.
Today for a few minutes I actually thought about building the presentation on monday as a script that uses Quicksilver’s “Large Type” function. I chose not to. Anyway.
